vegetable oil

butter

2–3 tbsp fresh lemon juice

soy sauce

Instructions
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. Make shallow crosshatch cuts on the surface and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Lightly coat the chicken with flour, shaking off any excess.
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes per side, until golden and seared.
Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter, lemon juice, soy sauce, honey, and garlic to the skillet.
Stir gently to combine, then cook the chicken in the sauce for about 2 minutes per side, spooning the sauce over the top.
Cover the skillet with a lid and let the chicken gently simmer over low heat for 3 minutes.
